I’ve been taking some time out to think about my career and something I keep coming back to while I have been ~reflecting~ is working with people you respect, and I cannot recommend Tigz enough as a photographer and someone I have mad respect for. Shoots with her are always an absolute blast, she’s one of the most badass business ladies I know, and the images make me feel like an absolute powerhouse
I had never been involved in a photo shoot before so this was a new experience for me. It was so glamorous and a lot of fun. It was so interesting though to see what goes on behind the scenes at a shoot. I was fascinated by the way the models just knew instinctively what to do and the incredible relationship between [Tigz] & the models and how [they] interact. And how [Tigz knows] that rain is coming in 12 minutes and will stop in 22 minutes still blows my mind!
Tigz work is just so breathtaking. I have been following her work for years and the way she plays with light is deeply captivating and so polished looking too, she creates such beautiful stories in her work. I have worked with her before, lending pieces for one of her Boudoir Masterclass workshops and the images she captured there where absolutely stunning! A lovely preview of what was to come, as recently we worked together on my No Grit, No Pearl collection. I have wanted her to shoot this collection for while and was so glad that she was equally as passionate about it as me, as I knew her attention to detail and eye for light and texture would be perfect to highlight my pearl collection. She is such a joy to work with, both before, during and after the process as she made the whole thing so easy. I would highly recommend Tigz, the calibre of her work just speaks for itself!
Living my best Backstage Photoshoot life with the incomparable Tigz Rice this morning. First time shooting with her and it was better than I could ever have imagined. What an angel.
Working with Tigz truly takes all of the hassle out of location shooting. She seems to know all the best locations and will listen carefully about the type of images you want to achieve. Often we find with shoots that we have to manage every aspect from hair to posing, but every collaboration with Tigz and Ella has resulted in beautiful effortless images – with our only ‘job’ being to send the dresses! Tigz and Ella are such a creative yet productive team, they will capture your idea whilst ensuring the garments are crease-less and promoting them to the best of their ability. They will capture every small detail and leave you with campaign shoots you’ll be incredibly proud of. We honestly couldn’t recommend them enough and we will always enjoy their collabs with The Pretty Dress Company.
Tigz Rice is an actual f*cking legend when it comes to turning around photos from shoots! It’s really nice to invest in having proper photos every now and again, especially when it comes to shooting lingerie content which can be hard to do at home. She always makes me feel comfortable in my skin, helps me with poses, and just has great ideas! Fellow bloggers looking for someone to shoot you in your undercrackers – Tigz Rice is the one!
