Anyone else seriously missing the gym right now? Pre-lockdown I would say I was bordering on gym rat status, heading to the gym most mornings and sweating out some mood-boosting endorphins before the working day began. Ahh, memories! It’s been almost a year since I was able to step foot in a gym, so when Welwyn Garden City based personal trainer Dovile (Dee) Leonaviciute asked me if I’d be up for shooting some personal branding photos with her between lockdowns at the end of last year, I jumped at the chance!
Dovile Leonaviciute is based out of Rise Gym in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, but has also been offering virtual training packages during lockdown – which is definitely handy for those of us not able to get into the gym right now! I caught up with this fierce powerhouse to find out more about the personal trainer and to ask her about her personal branding photoshoot experience…

Tell us your brand elevator pitch! Here at Dovile Leo Personal Training, clients and their goals are my main priority. I work one-on-one in a gym or online. As well as provide training programs and challenges to do at home with regular check ins and 24/7 help. I understand how important is for people to love their body and feel good and healthy – I give all my energy for my clients to achieve whatever their goals are.
What inspired you to start your brand? It’s important to understand that regular exercise not only helps you to achieve body goals but it helps you mentally too. The way I see it – it’s physical and mental journey to pure happiness.
How would your best friend describe you? Energetic and helpful and, I hope, as a good friend.
Name three things that you always carry with you? Phone, lip balm and a water bottle.
What was the last book you read?” If I could tell you just one thing…” by Richard Reed.
What inspired you to book a personal branding photoshoot? Seeing all those amazing photos on your social media. As well I adore you as a person – you’re so easy going and fun. I knew whatever insecurity issues that I have won’t be a problem working with you.
Who is your dream client? I have lots of them – just the one that trusts me and lets me do what I do best.
What’s the most interesting thing about you that the internet doesn’t know about you yet? Back in secondary school me and few of my friends had a club and designed fancy dresses from recycled materials (paper, plastic, cans etc). We’ve been invited to various festivals and did a lot of shows in school which made us very popular and cool 🙂
Tell us about your favourite photo from your brand shoot – why do you love it? I could not choose one in a million years. They’re all are spot on, all I wanted from my brand shoot – from the way my face and hair looks to a background and lighting – I honestly love them all!
Describe your shoot experience? It was so much fun, you made me feel at ease and super relaxed. I cannot wait to do another shoot soon.
What are you most proud of in your career so far? Being able to help people, sometimes I name myself a life coach not just Personal Trainer. I love when my clients trust me and feel safe with me. Im their best friend, psychiatrist and teacher for that hour.
If you could collaborate with any other brand, past or present, which brand would it be and why? I honestly have no idea – something exciting and glamourous!
What advice would you give to anyone thinking about booking a personal branding shoot of their own? Don’t think about it too much just go for it. Personal branding photos are a must for any business.
What exciting project are you working on right now? I’m creating lots of different programs to help people at home at the moment. I absolutely love doing that.
